| dc.description.abstractotrodioma | Examined similarities and differences in frequency of conflict situations between males and females in their relationships with parents and friends, as well as the depressive symptoms derived from those experiences. Ss were 307 male and 321 female junior high school students (aged 13–15 yrs) from public and private schools in south Mexico City. Ss completed self-administered forms of the Adolescent Daily Stress Inventory 13–15 and the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale. Results show that most of the conflict situations with significant statistical differences were experienced more frequently by females than males. Females also demonstrated higher depression symptomatology. | es_ES |
