Abstract
Description
Job performance is one of the most challenging aspects faced by people living with chronic mental disorders. It has been observed that good performance in this area could aid in improving both clinical and psychosocial situations. Theoretical models have considered work motivation as one of the predictor variables of success in getting and keeping a job. In the field of mental health there are few instruments for measuring work motivation, therefore the objective of this study was to report the psycho metric properties of the Adapted Questionnaire of Work Motivation for People Living with a Chronic Mental Disorder (‘‘Cuestionario Adaptado de Moti vacio´n para el Trabajo’’ or CAMT) in a sample of Mexican subjects diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
